OUR STORY:
The Love Center-South (TLCS), formerly known as Kingdom Love Worship Center, began in November 2014 as an intimate weekly Bible study held in a home. What started as a small gathering quickly grew to standing room only, known affectionately as “1683.” These powerful prayer meetings soon evolved into structured Bible studies, leading to our very first service—The “Genesis” Service—on November 21, 2015, in Nashville, TN.
From 2015 to 2016, services were held monthly on the third Saturday. In November 2016, we transitioned into weekly Sunday worship services as our community continued to grow.
After a time of necessary transition and reflection, God spoke clearly to our Pastor, reminding her of the divine assignment she had been given in the Southern region. He called her to continue the work of her spiritual father, Bishop Walter L. Hawkins, founder of the Love Center Ministries in Oakland, CA. In December 2021, the ministry officially embraced a new name and fresh vision, changing from KLWC to The Love Center-South.
TLCS is a multicultural hub where people from all walks of life can experience the perfect love of God, even in their imperfections. From the beginning, our mission has been to create a welcoming community centered around worship, growth, and the life-changing power of God’s love. Our ministry continues to honor and reflect the legacy and teachings of Bishop Hawkins, emphasizing love, unity, and spiritual development.
Over the past 11 years, TLCS has remained committed to preaching the gospel in a way that encourages both spiritual and personal growth. Our services have not only enriched lives to a greater consciousness of Christ but have also helped foster deeper connections within our community.
Under the leadership of our Itinerant Pastor. TLCS has extended its reach beyond the four walls of the church. Through online streaming via Facebook and YouTube, we share our message throughout our global audience—bringing hope, healing, and most importantly love.

As we look to the future, The Love Center-South remains dedicated to being a beacon of light in what can be a dark world. We are continuously seeking fresh ways to serve, uplift, and engage our community. We invite you to be a part of this journey of faith, purpose, and transformation.
